I finally got the courage to tell everyone I'm a lesbian, and it was great. Everyone accepted it, even the people from my last school who I'm not that close to. I feel so proud of myself. Now I just have to tell my parents and hope they take it well.
If anyone is unsure about coming out, just go for it, it's worth it. :)

So I'm in the middle of 'coming out' as a lesbian. I've only told about five people so far, but it's a start. I've tried so many times to tell the rest of my friends, but these are the kind of people who would tell everyone the minute they find out, so I know that I have to be prepared for what might come of this after I tell them; but I'm not. And I don't know if I will ever be ready. My plan was to be out by my 16th birthday, but I think that putting a date on it put too much pressure on me, and now I'm past my 16th and getting no were.
As soon as I've told my friends and it's out in the open, I think I should be ready to tell my parents. I recently found out that my mum's friend is a lesbian. My mum was telling me about one of her friends who like me, has her lip pierced, and then she went on to mention that this friend (Raquel) is a lesbian. This instantly made me feel a lot more comfortable with my sexuality, and this would mean that my mum might be more accepting of me. However I have no idea what my dad thinks of homosexuals, but I won't bother trying to find out until I've came out to friends etc.
I would appreciate any help. I need all the help I can get at the moment! XD

Okay so this is my first entry. I don't know what to say really. I'm Siobhan, or just Shiv & will be 16 in June. XD
My life's just dull and boring. I'm a lesbian, and will never get the courage to tell my parents. >;D A few of my friend's know, but I guess I'll tell the rest of them in college, maybe.
